Thank you for signing up to be responsible for leading Prayers of the People during our Big Church time.

If you’re stuck and looking for inspiration or extra guidance, here is a great resource. A good place to start would be the Prayers of the People chapter, where you can find outlines or even fully written prayers that you can tweak for your purposes. There are also sections in the book about various important dates in the year, like Lent, Advent, etc. 

You will receive an email (or text message) ahead of time specifying the topic and theme of the sermon for your week. Feel free to adapt your prayers to the theme, but this is not mandatory. You can also of course include whatever God puts on your heart that week in terms of world events, seasonal concerns, and so on. 

Please note: If you find that you are unable to come to Big Church on the week you are on the roster for (life happens!), PLEASE be responsible for asking somebody else to take over for you and letting us know as soon as you can.
